Soccer Moms Unite?

Last night Mark and I watched the vice presidential debate. Now, I don't get half of the stuff that they talk about but last night I tried. I agreed with Palin on the war, global warming and a few other things and at the same time agreed with Biden. I couldn't help but want to upchuck in my mouth though every time Palin would mention "Soccer Moms of America" of say something in reference to the everyday life of a woman. I don't know who she is trying to appeal to, but it was really annoying to me and was certainly not appealing. I cringed every time I heard her say something like that wondering how fellow Americans were feeling about her comments. All of her "Dang Rights!" and her "ask any soccer mom at a soccer game." I feel like she is trying too hard to find some common ground with people of the US. Biden also made me want to vomit with his ear to ear grin every time Palin opened her mouth. It was like him saying "Oh yeah I'd like to get into those pants."
Speaking of getting into her pants, I've heard so many people say stuff like "Palin is HOT!", or "She's just like one of us", or "I like her hair". Sadly, last night, one of the first things out of my mouth was 'I like her hair'! I about kicked myself in the eyeball after I realized what i had just said. I couldn't find much else than that. Now, what does that say about her? Why can't anyone find anything better than that to say? What, she's a ball buster? Oh even better. I'm sure she will whip out her chains and gun when it comes time to set the men in congress straight. I didn't get that from her last night. I felt more like I was in a classroom. She wasn't very matter of fact and didn't answer some of the questions. Not that Biden was perfect. Personally I don't want someone that is "just like us" in the chair behind a man who would croak any second. Have you seen some of us lately? Take the gas Crisis that just happened in Tennessee. I live in Tennessee and I was embarrassed to be a tennessean. A lot of us are morons. I speak for myself in some situations too. Why would any of us want someone "just like us" up on that throne. We all think we could make better decisions and do a better job, but I personally think that we would simply throw up a white flag, ask for a beer and jump into a bomb shelter. It's not an easy job to be President. That is why both of these parties scare me. You will be one of the most powerful men or in this case women in the world. It's scary.
So if that's the best we can do when talking about her, then I just shit my pants, because I'm not voting for Obama.
