Sky. Deaf, adorable, soft and very angry. Last november we brought home Lola. Another animal to add to all the stress that we were going through at the time. If any of you know cats, they are very independent and very hesitant to let something that barks, bites, pees and poops in their territory, much less let one of their own in without any harsh confrontation. Well sky was not happy. It seemed like it was going to take forever for him to lighten up and get the peg out of his ass and get along with Lola. Well just a few weeks before we took her to have her female parts removed, Sky seemed to have gotten used to the fact that he was going to have to live with this smelly, annoying pup. So for about 3 weeks, things were quite calm around the house. There were no bitch slaps from sky (no pun intended . . . well maybe), no panic attacks and no vampire hissing. Finally a little peace and quiet.

Well, I must have spoken to soon. We took Lola for her surgery wherein she had to spend the night in case of complications ( this does not make sense seeing that no one is there over night to check on her). When we brought her home, after only one night mind you, you would have thought that sky was fighting the devil. Bless his poor little naive skiddish heart. He actually thought after one night alone that he was rid of her. Ever since she has been back, Sky has gone from a nice smoothed out Q-tip to a gigantic dandelion like shape. I don't think I have walked by him once when his ears weren't laying back, his tail was 8 sizes to big and it looks like someone has styled his hair to permanently spike up. Poor little guy.

My visions of him and Lola cuddling on the couch are shattered. When Lola walks up to him he gives her the ghetto "AWWW GURL YOU BESS BE BACKINS UP. AWWW NO YOU DANT.!", then promptly gives her about 4 or 5 quick smacks in the face and a quick spitting hiss.
